My Rife Research Journal Part 2

Saturday September 1, 2001
Today I updated my web pages and added a reference page. I also split my journal page up into two pages for easier loading. As I last left off on my previous journal page, I implied that owning the Rife Universal microscope might be an empty cause. Bare with me while I explain why. When I originally started with the idea of recreating Rife's frequency devices and chronicling my results and findings, it all seemed pretty simple. My first intent was to "perfect" the machine. I felt the reason why it wasn't as accepted in the normal medical community was that it didn't have 100% repeatability. Now I don't feel that way. I still have ideas on how to make current Rife designs better. And I'm going to create my own device, test the results, then modify it with my improvements and test it again.
But as I started thinking about what I was going to do, I could see myself recreating Rife's work, getting results, but then I'd be where everyone else is. Having an "effect" but not knowing what the "cause" was. And I also knew that for new diseases, the only way someone could really know what frequency worked for them was by having a device like the Universal microscope to see what was happening with other frequencies. Otherwise it would be like shooting in the dark. I believe that the reason agencies like the AMA haven't sanctioned Rife devices is not some elaborate drug cartel wanting to keep their income safe. If I had a car bumper and I put it into a test, and every time every life was saved in the car, would that be enough? Wouldn't driver safety advocates be all over me asking me what was in my bumper? After all, was it sand? If so, would it not work if after the accident another car hit me? Was it springs? If so, could those springs fly out and kill someone else? No, I think the true reason why Rife frequency devices aren't sanctioned if because no one has shown the true mechanism why it works. Turning on a frequency device and seeing someone "get better" doesn't explain why it works. There are many theories I've heard. Like that the frequencies are the exact resonance frequency of the DNA of the germ in question and so on. But no proof of why.
The steps are clear. Here's what I've decided to do:
1.) Create a Rife-like microscope to "see" the effect of Rife's frequency devices.
2.) Perfect the effect of selective cellular resonance and the frequency device.
3.) Study on a molecular level how this phenomena works. Prove its worthiness.

Ok, so step 1, I need a Rife-like microscope. What about Rife's #3? Well, it's in the hands of someone who probably put it into all kinds of red tape by involving investors who each want a slice of the pie. Only now there's not enough pie to go around. Even if I could lay my hands on it, there would be such politics that I'd never have it for long. And I doubt these people would let it out of their sight. So what do I do?
Recreating Rife's Microscope. Well, luckily after all this reading, Rife's work had inspired me. I began to see a way that I could create the same effects of seeing on a microscopic level only using a different idea. One that would circumvent the same kind of problems associated with microscopes that had lenses.
So I began searching and guess what? It already exists. My own inspired ideas from Rife brought me to something similar I was thinking of. In 1991, patent number 5,034,613 was issued for the 2-photon microscope which can see down to a molecular level on living tissue. A diagram of how it works and a description of how it works are available at those links. Caltech's page on it has other links to pictures taken with it and movies that you can see. Even UCLA offers that you can rent time on one and be trained on it as well. Check their schedule to arrange time. (If you're in the area.) If not, there are plenty of other major colleges doing the same thing. This has only been available over the past few years, so it's very new. If you want to see picture of the microscopes, visit Beckman Institute's Biological Imaging Center to see theirs.
Images that may have equated to what Rife saw can be seen at the Department of Oncology, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada's from their 2-photon microscope. They sure look like the descriptions of what Rife saw that we've all been hearing.
So can you see why having Rife's microscope may all be in vain? All the personal greed in the world couldn't stop inventive minds. Something even better than Rife's microscope is already taking shape. I intend to go to UCLA's program and be trained on these microscopes. This microscope is still not exactly what I had in mind, but it tells me I am headed in the right direction. I believe I have a way to create even more infinite details on a cellular level using the same principle only with a photon targeting module I'm creating and another type of technology added in that I'm also working on. I'll get more detailed as my experiments progress. Stay tuned for steps #2 and #3 after I get trained on the microscopes.

Epilogue:

Sunday June 15, 2008
It's been 7 long years since I started this page and tried to unravel some of the "mysteries" of Rife and his devices. In 2001, when most of the previous was written, I was working at a job that gave me part time hours. This made doing research easy since I had a three day weekend.
But many things happened. 9/11 happened and I lost that job to downsizing during the mild recession, I got married, and a whole host of things that stopped me from continuing in the way I had been. No conspiracy or anything else of the sort, just life happening.
Here's what I found: First, all Rife devices have three elements. 1.) A power supply, 2.) An oscillator and 3.) a "transmitter" of some kind which can be a plasma bulb or electrodes of other means of transmitting the signal to a body. As a professional engineer and an arm chair biophysicist, I can tell you that a power supply is not a magical item. Clean simple power to power the oscillator and bulb is no trick. I can make one, any reasonable engineer can make one, even you can buy one at any supply store.
Oscillators used are either sine wave or square wave. Google those for a definition if you don't know what that mean, but in the electronics world it's pretty simple. And finally, the transmitting device. Rife used a plasma bulb which is the most popular. And I don't personally believe in the electrode type that comes in direct contact with the skin, but that's just my educated opinion.
All these elements are an engineer's child's play. And during Rife's time, his own style of these elements would be less accurate than any equivilent technology of the same items today. Maybe some of their "flakiness" was part of what made them work. So why did such a device work so well as claimed? And why is it that some times it seems to work like a charm and other times nothing happens? I took Aleve once for a headache because they said it was stronger and yet it didn't help at all. I went back to taking Advil and that really helped. I believe there is still an ignored fact of medical science that not all bodies are made the same. The answer may not lie in just one solution.
As I said, I had many things happen to me that took me temporarily off my very passionate quest for the cure for cancer. I also suffered from the belief that one has to have money and time to pursue such things. I centered on growing a business for the purpose of self sustaining myself so I could devote my time to research. I was wrong. If you want to do something, don't take an extra step to do it, just skip to the end and do what you can do accomplish it. Otherwise you'll get caught up in the plan to accomplish your goal rather than working on it.
So nowadays I devote a little time each week to doing my research, slowing writing a schematic based on my own ideas and planning on making a prototype. I'm not moving fast, but I'm moving.
Let me tell you the most discouraging and debilitating factor in finding a cure for cancer. It's ego. I dealt with my own some time ago. I wanted to be the hero. I saw all kinds of suffering and pain and it effected me to be sure. I cried and I felt useless not being able to do anything about it. All those millions of dollars going to the National Cancer Society when all I needed was one or two million of it for my own research. To see money going down the wrong hole with no way to prove it is painful all on it's own.
I wanted to be the person to "save the day" and so for a while, many years before I wrote these journals, I stayed equally silent about my theories and ideas in the fear someone would steal them and make them their own or that the conspiracy theorists were right and someone would swoop down and "vanish" all my work. Before I made this page, I realized it was ego that stopped us all from finding the truth.
Barry Lynes was a good example. He found out about the Rife device and microscope and wrote a book about it, but then made owning this technology his own personal quest. The facts are obvious in the documents on this journal. But he held on to it like it was gold so much, his ego wouldn't let it go without being paid millions. And so any hope that Rife's microscope worked and how it worked deteriorated with it's being disassembled and lost forever.
Another case in point is Steven A. Ross, president of the World Research Foundation. In November of 2007, he wrote me to tell me that he has seen my page and wanted to correct what took place between 1984 and 1987.
He said he had the Rife Universal Microscope from 1984 to 1987, and that it was given to him by John Crane in 1984. He claimed to have a written agreement between John Crane and himself that gave Ross the rights to the microscope if he could get it functioning. At the time he couldn't because too many parts were missing. Then in December of 1986, Barry Lynes contacted Steven Ross and demanded he give Lynes everything that was loaned to him by John Crane.
In a subsequent letter, Steven told me that he was verbally strong armed by people showing up to his office on Lynne's behalf and told they'd come by for the microscope and papers later on. But before Ross turned over the microscope, he took detailed photos of it. Later the next day, he described the extraction of the microscope from his possession as careless. They threw the microscope in a truck with no care what-so-ever and that was the last he saw of it.
He told me that he does speeches at events and often brings to show these and other original items not included in Barry's book and given to him by John Crane. I kept this to myself believing that it would be best not to publicize such things. I wanted to visit his library in Sedona Arizona and see all these things, but timing was bad and winter is not the best time to be in Arizona.
So a season or two went by. I decided since I now had more money to travel and time to do so, that I was going to make a visit to Sedona. I contacted Steven Ross and asked if he'd allow me to publish his photos on this web site, so that all could see. His response was far less than stellar. It was:

Hi Jim:
Thank you for your note.
If I was concerned about being too public I wouldn't have presented lectures on Rife all over the world. I have made presentations through radio and live presentations to medical specialists, hospital associations, insurance companies and lay persons.
I don't believe in presenting limited or fractional information which is oft-times loaded with half truths or innuendos which give people the wrong impression and then they copy what little they find and add something and on and on...just like this sentence!
I was surfing when I came across your site and merely provided some additional information that was true, accurate and real because it was first hand.
I don't feel any necessity to place pictures on the web nor do I hold this information as if it is only mine. My responsibility is as a care-taker for people who might make a difference in moving this technology forward. I have to trust my intuition regarding what is the most beneficial approach.
The long periods where you have not responded including the first time I contacted you and follow up periods certainly has not fired me up regarding your site.
I am sure you're a great fellow and your site is entertaining but I don't feel 'moved' to present more information that might do better being seen in another venue.
All the best,
Steve

In this case, Steven Ross has placed himself as judge of whom should be "worthy" enough to be supplied with information about Rife. To me, this is just another ego deciding how to control Rife's work. If he's truly the "care taker" for this information, then it should be very public. ANYONE with an interest or passion for Rife and for the poor individuals who have no other alternatives, can potentially be someone who makes a difference in moving this technology forward. And I can tell you that very little new material has appeared on his own web site over the past year. That's why none of the articles have dates on them.
I don't know Mr. Ross very well, I can only judge him based on his emails and temperament towards me. But the price for ego is the further loss of human life. We all can't afford to "hold on" to anything that could help. Any information I've had, I've gladly supply to others, even if I thought they were crazy. Who am I to judge otherwise?
I may be smart and resourceful and hope to help, but I can't afford to think only I could have an answer. I hope if not me, then someone else could take the information I provide and make Rife devices work reliably.
Imagine if everyone who knew something about Rife (and not just hearsay) made it public on one site. That anyone with information about his microscope or devices would realize they don't have much time on earth and forego personal gain for humanity's sake. How soon would we have a cure then?
You want to know what I think prevents Rife's work for becoming a reality? It's not a conspiracy or an agency or villains or heroes, it's just people. Someone who wants to be a hero but only on their own terms. Go into a cancer ward and tell those people you can cure them, but only after you get funding. Does anyone have these materials? Then don't brag about it, don't flaunt it, don't expect something for it, just do something about it. Let your name be added to a big list of people who actually did everything and anything they could. That's your reward, being in the history books. When that happens, we'll see Rife devices or devices like them come to happen.
-Jim
